We use FEMA publications, local government guidance, National Weather Service resources and other primary sources. Manufacturer pricing is identified as a manufacturer’s published example or range. It is not presented as a local price survey, our own installation price or an endorsement. Sources and review dates appear with the relevant content.

Our original planning worksheets and instant budget tool organize information for a homeowner’s next conversation. They do not provide structural design, certify a product or approve a site. A qualified installer, the responsible design professional and the reviewing authority address those parts of the project.
